Leases is a small farm on the banks of a stream, 2 miles from Kirkby Stephen. Whether you prefer bridlepaths across open fell, or quiet country lanes, we can offer a wonderfully varied selection of half & full day rides. Fishing, golf and wonderful walks are all on the door-step as an alternative to riding.

Horse accommodation: 2 stables and ample grazing.

Human accommodation: Self-catering accommodation in 2 charming and well appointed detached stone cottages.

Example Prices: Horses - £30 per week grazing- £60 per week stabling. The Byre £200-£350 per week Crosby Mill Cottage £225-£400. Both can be booked out of season for £35 and £45 per night.

Directions:

In Kirkby Stephen take the turning for Soulby and Crosby Garrett.As you leave
the town bear left (by the Grammar School) ,signed Waitby and Smardale.Then
take the first fork right. Continue along this lane for over a mile,and across
a narrow cross roads. Then take the next fork right,signed Crosby Garrett.
Leases is the only property on this lane,about 500yards down on the right hand
side (a very sharp turn into the yard).
