Threapland Moss is a delightful country house, set in 80 acres of woodland,
3miles from Bassenthwaite Lake and surrounded by fields and fells. Within
close proximity to Keswick and Cockermouth, it is an ideal location to
experience all that the lake district has to offer.

Whether you prefer riding the fells, exploring bridleways, galloping along
the beach, schooling in the menage, jumping at local shows, a day's hunting,
a day at the races, a course of lessons or ambling down quiet country
lanes....it's all here!

If you don't own your own horse, still come. Our local riding centre can
provide horses, lessons, a jumping and cross country course (Soon to be
completed), accompanied treks, riding for the disabled and adult ralley
days.

Horse Accommodation
Adjacent to the house are 2 large stables with Fieldguard rubber matting,
tack room, storage for bikes and carriage. Outdoor all-weather school, small
paddock (weather permitting)

Self Catering: A charming , fully equipped cottage: fridge freezer, washing
machine,TV video, music centre etc. Sleeps 4. Heating and linen
included,garden ,BBQ. pets welcome.
