Swarthbeck Farm is idyllically situated overlooking Ullswater, with stunning views and direct access to the open fell and miles of bridleways. For a trouble free holiday, riding can be arranged as and when required, plus the services of a qualified Trail-Ride Leader with extensive knowledge. Or bring your own horse/ pony (hardy types preferred).

All the accommodation has private (shared) lake access and boats/mountain bikes can be hired or brought with you. Truly a holiday for everyone!

Horse accommodation: Grazing and loose-box available.

Human accommodation: We can offer a choice of 5 very individual self-catering farmhouses or cottages sleeping up to 14.

Example prices: Horses Grazing £25 per week, Stabling £7 per night Self-catering Farm houses/cottages - £195 - £490 (weekends and short breaks from £70).

EXTRAS: Guided Rides at £40 for 2-3 hours. £70 for full day (per group). Horses to hire (limited number) £35 for 2 hours, £60 per day.
